399 magazines - March 1926-May 1957Charles Price was a Congregationalist minister who attended an Aimee Semple McPherson revival meeting in order to discredit her ministry of healing. Instead, he was convicted, converted and filled with the Holy Spirit with a few days! There followed a lifetime of evangelistic and healing ministry which has become legendary. As the healing ministries from the early 20th century began to decline it was largely Charles Price and Smith Wigglesworth who carried the healing ministry forwards through to the 40's until the new healing revival of 1947 onwards.Strangely, both Wigglesworth and Price died within 4 days of each other in March, 1947.The Golden Grain is filled with hundreds of sermons, teachings and testimonies which fuelled the fire of a new generation of healing evangelists who took up the baton of Price and Wigglesworth.
The 1947-1958 Healing Revival was the most powerful spiritual phenomenon of the twentieth century. Its aftermath generated the unprecedented and exponential growth of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement which now numbers over 550 million members across the world. Preaching salvation, healing and deliverance, scores of ministers established independent evangelistic associations with remarkable success. They filled gigantic tents and the largest auditoriums across America and around the world. The principal leaders were William Branham, Oral Roberts, A. A. Allen, Jack Coe, W. V. Grant, Raymond T. Richey, T. L. Osborn, and a host of lesser-known preachers. Gordon Lindsay was the catalyst and chronicler of the revival and the Voice of Healing magazine was born. The 100 magazines on this CD tell first-hand, the stories of the principle players of the drama. Their experiences of miracles, healings, deliverances, signs and wonders will inspire your faith and encourage you to pick up the torch of their ministries and run triumphantly into the great end-time revival before Jesus returns. Please note that these 100 magazines are not a complete run, but are currently the largest digital collection available.

Alexander A. Boddy, an Anglican vicar, well deserves the name 'The Father of British Pentecostalism.' It was his vision that prompted him to invite Thomas Ball Barratt to Britain to minister the 'Baptism in the Holy Spirit' to hungry hearts at a time when the laying on of hands, speaking in tongues and spiritual gifts were comparatively unknown in the nation. He became the editor and publisher of the first Pentecostal magazine 'Confidence' (1908-1926) and initiated the first Charismatic convention in his Sunderland church (1908-1914). It was here that young men destined to become leaders of the Movement in years to come, were nurtured into mature Pentecostal pioneers. His wise leadership and his insistence on Biblical order and practice guaranteed the protection and growth of the vulnerable movement. This CD Rom contains all the Alexander A. Boddy material that is still in existence including his six travel books and all the topical spiritual writings he penned. In addition we have added three personal letters from him, three booklets by his wife, Mary, and her eulogy written by their daughter.Furthermore we have included extensive original images and notes on the Sunderland Convention, All Saints Church, Monkwearmouth and Pittington Church where he finally died.
'Confidence', the first official magazine of the early British Pentecostal Movement, covering the years 1908-1926, has now been digitised and transferred to a single CD-ROM. The 140 issues, containing more than 2,700 pages, tell the exciting story of the early growth of the Pentecostal Movement, not only in Britain but also in many other parts of the world. The teachings and ministry of many early Pentecostal pioneers like Alexander Boddy and Smith Wigglesworth are reported in these pages.
This magazine was edited by Donald Gee (1891-1966) at the request of the World Pentecostal Conference in September 1946. Donald Gee was a widely respected Bible teacher who had wide experience as an editor and as the writer of many books. This periodical contains reports of Pentecostal activity from around the world. Gee began editing this paper at the time when Pentecostals from several different groups were seeking to meet on a regular basis with a view to working together while recognising the distinct contribution of each group. In the later issues we see the emergence of the newer individuals and groups that were to be designated as "charismatic." Gee's own response to such a development makes this paper highly important and it needs to be read by anyone interested in the growth of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Movement. One of Donald Gee's first biographers writing of these editorials said they were, "the most openly honest and perceptive pages in all Pentecostal literature."
